How to choose the best Dummy for your Newborn.

Becoming a parent is one on the most incredible experiences in life.  Through all the amazing firsts and wonderful snuggles, its can also be stressful to navigate all the baby products to find the best options for your little one.

The natural sucking reflex babies have from birth is vital for the baby to get food, from the mothers breast or bottle.  This sucking reflex also has a calming effect on the baby, reminding them of the safety they feel when feeding.   

Which size of BIBS Dummy is best for your baby?

All babies are different and have varying preferences.  Try a few different shapes and sizes, your baby will let you know which is perfect for them.

It's our experience that most newborns prefer a smaller size to begin with, however all sizes can be used from birth.  It comes down to the preference of your baby.

As a general size guide for the BIB's Pacifier range we have made the following recommendations:

• Size 1: 0+ months
• Size 2: 6+ months
• Size 3: 18+ months
• Onesize: 0-3 years

Age and size indications are only a guide for you to follow, all sizes can be used from when your baby is born.
