Book Review - 'Maybe' by Kobi Yamada

One of the many things we get to enjoy as parents is reading with our kids. Reading is a precious time when we get to slow down and enjoy a cuddle, while watching their eyes delight as their imaginations bring the words to life.

Whether your child is a book worm or simply enjoys a evening bed time story, books bring pure joy to the reader.

One of our favourites is MAYBE, an extraordinary book by Kobi Yamada, illustrated by Gabriella Barouch.

Kobi is a New York Times best-selling author of many delightful and inspiring books such as 'Trying', 'What to do with and idea' and 'Finding Muchness'

Maybe Childrens Book

Maybe is filled with stunning, realistic and magical illustrations while the writing is sensitive, warm and intelligent. The 40 page book, which features a girl and her adorable flying pig, is about the potential in all of us.

Maybe reminds us that each person is unique and that we all have incredible potential, no matter the path we take and how hard the journey may be. It is a story about each of us for everything that we will do and everything we could become.  And Maybe we will exceed wildest dreams.

"You are the only you there ever has been or ever will be. You are unique. Just the odds of you being here at this exact place and this exact time are so great and so rare that they will never happen again".

Maybe by Kobi Yamada

The books message is simple yet profound and inspirational.  It is a theme that is generally featured in adult books, but Kobi did such a wonderful job of bringing the beautiful message through to a children's book. Maybe should be a part every child's library. It makes for an inspiring and timeless gift that can be enjoyed by kids of all ages.

Maybe is entirely appropriate for adults too, especially those who love beautiful art. A book to inspire both the youngest and oldest members of the family.

Maybe reminds us that the possibilities of life are endless, that who we are now and who we will be in the future is unbounded and magical.

"A  story about the endless potential in all of us"
